I never mind the change, and this year we gain the extra hour the last weekend of this month -- when I am at the quilt retreat!!!!

Don't envy you at all. Had daylight saving for 18 years & that was enough for me. Most annoying when i have to go to NSW from Qld in summer or ring my parents. People are trying to get daylight saving in QLD. Hope they don't succeed. Hugs, Jeanette

Daylight savings?? what's that?? ha ha... I hope they never bring it in here in Qld.

Me too... :( Love the sad face back of the block too... I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS! Here's hoping it doesn't take too long to adjust and I get some good rubber backed curtains quickly for the kids rooms. Nothing worse than having kids that won't go to bed on time cause the sun is still up... never mind the fact that they may not see their Father much for 6 months. Why did we move to NSW?! ;)

Dido. Im not liking it at all. Had enough to get up and milk now. Now an hour earlier in the dark. Cows aren't sure what's going on.

Donna, I am actually looking forward to this summer, my NO vote counted for something here in WA. It has already started in New Zealand and my sister is having a hard time adjusting to it. I hope you are enjoying your school holidays.Happy days.

Oh Donna,
I hated it too!
We have voted it out!...only took 4 lots of trials, the last one being for three years...They could not understand the word "NO" till then..
Take care Julia ♥

We did a three-year trial and had a referendum at the end - and the people voted NO to it for the third time - politicians just don't listen. I'm finding I'm waking up early anyway - but I just couldn't handle those later evenings - most nights I couldn't finish in the kitchen until 9 and that is just not on! And it was too hot in the evenings. So glad we are back to normal this year...

As a city slicker I LOVE day light saving.

Hahaha -- look at that cute face on the back of that clock! Come to think of it -- I don't even know when we'll be changing - better check!

I hate daylight savings too!!! It is still so hot in the evenings. It takes me weeks to adjust.

It's great to be a West Aussie...we may live in Dullsville but at least we can go to the beach at 7am for a swim before work.

I LOVE daylight saving! I love the feeling of still having daylight for a few hours after work, its like having the afternoon off work! Yeah its a little hard to adjust to the early mornings, & I am not a morning person, but after the first week or so, my body clock adjusts. Love it! My whole family love it.

Donna, you are one of the people who have a right to a 'no' vote as it is meaningful to you - the rest of us who it doesn't affect, does it really matter? Just a little thought ...

Wow, even your clock looks sad!!! I would say cheer up it doesn't last too long, but it does, and seems to go on longer each year! xo

I feel the same way that you do, although we fall back an hour this month and I like that time change, the spring forward always gets me.

We’ll go back to Wintertime in 2,5 weeks and I love it. But I also love when the clock goes forward again in March.

The alarm clock has a very sad face!

I actually dont mind that "change over", but wished theyd just keep it all year. Today I couldnt believe it was 5.00pm to knock off, felt much earlier.

As a 'townie' I have to admit I love daylight savings and missed it so much when we lived in WA. Sorry!

well, I live in WA (if you mean Washington State) we go to this obnoxious time change Nov 1. I just wish they would leave it alone, choose one and stick to it. Thus said, I sure do better with an hour more sleep. I have a real hard time in the Spring, adapting to losing an hour's sleep.
